NYTT LAND (Russia / Siberia)
Music, skillfully balancing on the brink of experimental ambient and the epic songs of Ancient Siberia and Old North. Travel between the cold landscapes of the Tundra, the Mongolian steppes, and the Scandinavian fjords through the songs of Nytt Land. Offering a clever blend of Mongolian throat singing, shamanic rhythms in modern sound and nature vision of their universe, the band will captivate the audience with the magic of its songs, all carrying a bit of history and traditions that are dear to them.
The main core of the magical sound of the NYTT LAND is Natasha Pakhalenko’s unique natural vocals, in which clean folklore techniques of Siberia and Saami and low Tuva throat singing easily alternate.
